The benefits of Pilates are absolutely endless. I’m still amazed how one man (Joseph Pilates) created this mind-blowing form of exercise. He is a true inspiration plus wears the best pants! From working as a nurse in WW1 helping people recover from their injuries (using hospital equipment to practice his methods) to helping famous dancers and athletes to perform at their best. It blows my mind every day.
Pilates not only helps you build strength, tone and endurance in muscles you probably never knew existed, it also helps you to regain core strength, improve flexibility and mobility through your major joints, and improves your coordination, balance and posture. On top of all that, it also provides an amazing mind-body connection through the intense focus it requires on breath with movement.
It’s precise, it’s meaningful and most of all it really works!
